Why is my private car sale listed as only a "Fair Price" compared to Dealer listings

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Why is my private car sale listed as only a "Fair Price" and barely under market
when it is lower than other Dealer listings of cars the same
make/model/features and mine also has substantially less miles. The Dealers
apparently automatically get higher ratings.  Not happy!
I also paid the $19.00 for the extra marketing - I don't see anything happening.

There is a bias allowing dealers higher prices, and showing them as better deals. This keeps their ads showing first. When I posted my car, they called it "Fair" even though dealers vehicles with similar miles and priced higher were shown as "Good" The reason is because they don't believe private sellers should get as much for their cars as dealers so if you want your car listed as "Good" or "Great Deal" you will have to put a much lower price than a dealer for the same car.
