Can a modern diesel car run for 3000kms at a stretch? If not, what distance can it run at a stretch.

Engine : 2.0 TDI

I have no clue about the Skoda Octavia specifically, but 3000 km...1860 miles, what do you mean by at a stretch? Not without re-fueling, @ say 30 mpg that is 50 gallons+ in fuel. But as for your question, a good modern diesel can run much farther that that. Only thing is, checking oil.
