Do I need a engine or radiator?

My husband was driving behind a work truck a pole
threw off the truck puncturing my radiator. Car only
ran out when drove long period of time. Put water
on it, it was fine so I thought. Got on highway car
smoked out wouldn't start got it towed to shop was
told get a engine and radiatorif it never gave me
problem until that week or two span why would I
need a engine without changing radiator,fluids
first?Some mechanics I'm sorry always trying to
get over...

Get another opinion but it sounds like the overheating ruined the engine.

Maybe the coolant and or water that spewed all over the engine and that is why it won't start, like FOR said, have another mechanic give you an estimate.
