The fuel pump is in the gas tank hooked onto the sending unit. You may want to replace the sending unit also. Look inside the car over the gas tank and see if there is an access panel to go threw so you wouldn't have to drop the tank. No access panel, then the tank needs to be dropped.
Do you have to take the tank off to put the fuel pump in? Or do you have to go threw the tank?
