Part fell while driving

Hi there,
I have a 2012 Chrysler Ypsilon and I have been
hearing a metal sound for a couple days, the sound
most probably
Located in the front left of the car. Then just an hour
ago this fell and the sound stopped! Does anyone
have any clue what that might be?
