Either the DVD is bad or your nav radio is not responding to the software meaning it cant process the software level because its not compatible or it has an internal fault ....are you using a brand new nav disc or a used disc that was someone had and you borrowed

Problem actually began with originally new software discs purchased from Navteq. Returned that set received another to get same result. I then contacted Navteq support followed the rep's install instructions on a number of attempts with same resulting. Went to local Chrysler dealership as advised and was told by service rep "my car's computer system was not recognizing the discs but for $150 a computer with my discs would be connected to the system and be installed. I frankly am seeking to possibly find info that would allow me to resolve this without spending such an additional amount?

well the $150.00 is for diag and installation ... and will tell you if your radio is the issue or if its the software that your buying is....with out the right diag scanner you dead in the water unless you know some one that has one ...the only other thing you could do is remove your radio and have it tested we send our stuff to united radio ...and they may not test it just might exchange it for a reman which you may have top do anyhow
