I have a 2017 Hyundai w/ 1.6T engine--my question is: Can I use a high grade full synthetic oil without any issues?

Most oils changes are at minimum a sythetic blend of some sort. Going full synthetic will not hurt anything. Regardless, follow the oil internal changes on your manual. Some say you can drive longer on synthetic before changing it vs conventional. Be safe, do it by the book or your warranty might get voided
