Hyundai trajet womt start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Was away for 10 days. Come home and got car
around corner, ran out of fuel than wouldnt start
again after putting fuel in. Only making a clicking
sound.  Got a new battery and starter motor, still
only clicking sound and the starter motor and
leads getting super hot. Anyone have any clues.
We are stumped. Could it be electrical or motor
itself. Also key light flashes. Tried both keys

Get a new starter motor with solenoid. Also check your battery cables for high resistance. Buy from Napa and have them test it there before leaving
