Flat Tire on purpose or not?

Asked by GuruYS2BV Mar 11, 2018 at 03:41 PM

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What could've caused this flat tire? The substance
on the tire is making us question if someone
purposely did this.
Any thoughts, advice, etc is greatly appreciated!

It looks to me like someone tried a can of Fix-a-flat on the tire.

I too live in area where I get a lot of flats. I use heavy duty tires on my truck which has mostly stopped the problem. Buy tires will a road hazard warranty!

Oh my gosh, I have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata and I’ve had nine flat tires in two years. Almost all of them are from nails. I don’t drive through construction sites and I don’t drive on the shoulder, honest I feel like my tires are a magnet for nails. I would appreciate any feedback.
