The first Lamborghini was actually the 1964 Lamborghini 350 GT
October 1963 with the 350 GTV at the Turin show. The engine however was placed along side the car because it had downdraught Webers and would not fit under the hood. The engine bay was loaded with bricks to achieve the correct looking ride height for display. For Geneva in March 1964, they showed the 350GT which was a real running car and the actual first production model.
