Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently noticed that the carpet on the drivers side floorboard is wet; upon peeling it back i noticed that the sound dampning material is soaked too?

Help - please!

Check your vents right underneath your windshield wipers(on the outside). Alot of times they can get clogged causing water to back up and drain into your cars floor boards after it rains.

Checked this area. Took off wipers, pulled up the plaster valance, ran water with a hose all under the wiper and hood areas, no water was coming into the cabin area. I believe at this juncture with pooled water in the drain plug cap recesses, both in the front and back floorboards, that the problem must stem from water/fluid get in the AC/heating duct and being forced to the back seat as well as soaking the front floorboard and under the seat. Water is confined to driver's side only.
