Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I'm trying to decide between a 2008 with 29,000 miles and a 2012 with 15,000 miles.  The cost difference is
$11,000.

If they are the same type of car, get a CARFAX report on the cheaper one & find out how many people owned the car (1 owner good 7 owners WHY). Does it have a salvage title? What kind of repairs were done (ie tranny or engine problems). 29000 miles isn't much for a 2008 model. Drive the 2008 yourself. If you do all this & the 2008 falls short, then start the process with the 2012. In otherwards, do your homework BEFORE BUYING.
