Took my car to auto zone to get my battery changed when they plugged the
new battery in my head lights went on high but my lights were left off so I go in
to check and my cars front dash wasn't lighting up which I found odd I told the
worker helping me and he cranked it at least 10 times and my car was now not
starting he checked and found out they sold me the wrong battery it was the
opposite of mine so he ended up burning my ECU when my mechanic checked
the car in their parking lot he was checking all the fuses taking them off I now
have got my ECU reprogrammed but my car does not start my front panel is
working I changed the fuse but their is a part missing now by my ECU and fuse
box and I want to know what it is and if it has anything to do with it not starting

I would ensure that ECU/ECM whatever, it is referred to in your vehicle wasn't permanently damaged. The wrong battery typically is not enough to disable a cars on board computer/diagnostic system however, it has happened in the past. I would consider also that you check the alternator, even though you say there are "front panel lights", are they dim? Are you referring to the dash lights (for your speedometer/tach? Or are you referring to the headlights themselves? Please advise and I will help you further troubleshoot this issue!
