mazda B2200 u joints and drive shafts
I have a mazda b2200 single cab and a mazda b2200 extended cab as a
parts truck both 5 speeds. the Rear u joint on the single cab is broken and
needs replacing. Are they replaceable? if so can i use the u joints or entire
drive shaft from the extended cab on the single cab or what do i need to do
to make that work

U-joints are replaceable as tennisshoes says. The rear yoke that the driveshaft connects to would need to be inspected also, it could be damaged from the broke u-joint. As far as you other drive shaft, if it is the same as the one in need of repair, you can use it. May be a different length, just have to check.

B2200 u-joints are staked in. You cannot replace them unless you have a special tool (costs around $400) and a hydraulic press. Here's a video: https://www.driveshaftparts.com/index.php? route=product/product&product_id=1502 When you do this you will have to have the assembly rebalanced. You can't just "eyeball" the thing in. The factory has a huge machine with centering jigs, and they stil balance the shaft after assembly. There are way too many people out there who can watch a youtube video and claim themselves as experts.
