Engine swap

Asked by David Sep 12, 2016 at 12:38 AM

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 1989 grand marquis with a ford 302 with 90k miles on it. It has good compression and is
over all in very good condition. Is it worth it to swap it into an old 70s ford chassis that would fit
the engine. Or should I just save up some money and sell it and buy a different car

If you're handy and don't mind tinkering on your hodge-podge car, sure. If you have to pay someone to do the work and to keep it running, probably not worth it, at least not financially.
