Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I'm 16 years old and I know a little bit
of what it takes to restore a muscle
car because my dad restored a 68
mustang and I helped him. I also
know it's gonna take a lot of cash to
restore one and I plan on working to
get money to put into it. I would like
to get a 1977 firebird but any year
would be fine up to 1981.

I searched craigslist, eBay, and autotrader classics and I've found a few on eBay for around 2-4k. I'm also looking for one with a T-top which I know adds a little more value I think.

Ok I was just wondering if $2,500 was too low of a budget but I won't be getting the car soon but probably in a couple of months. Also how much does the T-top add to the price (if any) ?
