Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a1990 964 c2 triptronic  that's needs a new crankshaft I have been looking for one
for almost 7 months now and have had no luck... My question is.... Will another crank
work in its place? like one from the 993... I think I remember reading a blog about this but
they were talking crazy car lingo that by the end of the conversation I wasn't even sure
