Custom Vw trike transmission

Question type: Car Customization

Is it possible to put in an a automatic
transmission in an older vw bug? I own a
customized trike and I’m too short of o push
the clutch in and the shifter is between my
legs so moving forward is not an option , it’s
chopped from the back seat and a Harley
front end
