buying a used car from dealership

i spoke  to a salemen  who said  he try  to find me a car, and he would call me later today ( yesterday) yet nothing has taken place. is there  a chance or not  of buying  from  yr  dealership? please  advise  asap

I don’t know what a yr dealership is, but it sounds like you need to move on to a different car dealer.

Cargurus is an advertising site only. Similar to Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc. They don't have Dealerships. Most likely, especially if you called or emailed them, the salesman took your call, was polite, but has no intention of finding you a vehicle. Probably figured you're a tire kicker or lookie lou and moved on. If you're really interested in something they have, go there in person and talk to them. Or another Dealer who has something you like. Call first, if they're a distance from you, to confirm the vehicle is still available, then go there if it is. In the car buying world a phone call is still the best way to get started on your purchase. Hope that helps! Jim
