I have a 1989 toyota pickup.with a four speed
tyrant, I want to upgrade to a five speed from a
1994. How much trouble will I have making the
swap? The 1994 has electronic sensor for
speedometer,will my speedometer cable work on
five speed granny? The five speed tyrant appears
to have a plug where a cable might connect.

hate those tyrant grannys! seriously now, you have a cool truck and it is a great idea- live the dream- if it was mine, tho, I wouldn't bother- perfect the way it is- just get used to going 55 on the Hiway- what's the hurry?
