'd' is not even close to 'n' on a keyboard.. I do understand you question. Give us all a minute to look around for some possible answers..

It could be a vacuum leak that stalls the engine at idle. Check your hoses.

If it's a Datsun (actually Nissan) Pulsar...it just MIGHT be a turd. Please tell us what year and model Datsun you have, Arsenio
