What country are you in? No Fiat Stilos here in America- I wish there were! anyway, there are a few things that could be wrong with your Fiat- I don't think the cooling fan is responsible for your heater being inop- the heater should work even with the car going down the highway, with constant airflow going through the radiator- this is what the thermostat is for- the Fiat thermostats have a short operational life, so I would start looking there- and do it quickly, because this problem, whatever is causing it, could be expensive if you overheat your engine- get it done right away!
