2005 Subaru legacy gt

Asked by Joshua Jan 30, 2016 at 05:12 AM about the 2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 Subaru legacy gt. Converted from
top mount intercooler to front, aftermarket turbo,
injectors, short block, built right, entire motor
redone basically, was driving on the highway and
burned out my fuel pump and fouled out all 4
spark plugs, replaced pump, and plugs, still don't
know why it won't start. Any suggestions?

Yeah. But I also think you're playing with fire in that 2005-2007 2.5 turbos have NOT been durable. Since you've already rebuilt everything, make sure you're not blowing it too hard for the stock injectors, for example. Fuel pumps are usually reliable, so something's a bit awry here....
