How much pressure does the fuel pump on an 88 camaro put out?

Fuel injected fuel pumps are high pressure, at about 30-45psi. Carbs need around 5-8psi. You need a fuel pressure adjuster, an aftermarket item costing around $100. Easy to install and you can turn down the pressure before it gets to the carb.

30-50 are port injcted engines, manifold continuious injected cars are 9-13 psi so if ur going from a pfi engine to carb u would need a pressure regulator if ur going from a mfi to a carb u dont

I did this swap in my 84 no reg needed. If you have throttle body and not individual injectors you will be fine.

you'll blow all the seals on a carb, you need to get a fuel pressure regulator and set it at the right pressure or go to a mechanical fuel pump.
