I want to put a 350 and a 5speed transmission into
my v6 Camaro. And i want to buy a cheap truck to
do the swap but i dont know what will fit or line up

Most Camaro forums have detailed swap guides, you can get a lot more info there than here. I'd also pick up a Chilton, Haynes, or Mitchell guide for you year, make, and model of car as well, before tearing into it.

Do you want this to be smog legal? If so you need to use a correct motor for your year car.

You need to install a correct motor will all the smog goodies for your year car. A donor car would be the easiest way to do this as you will have all the parts.

hey john i have an 82 camaro that i put a 350 motor in it. i also added an electrical fuel pump instead of the mechanical pump. when i start my car she sounds great and i will put it in drive and start down the road she'll run great for about 2 miles then she sounds like its choking and dies. when i try to restart it in nuetral thers times it will run a lil rough and die when it is put in gear or there are times it won't start back up. what are your suggestions 3 Answers

My 1997 camaro struggles sometimes to get up and go if u know what i mean. I know it has a purge flow problem that the check engine light kept coming on. So back in September wheni had to get it inspected I took it somewhere and they did something to it that the purge flow will never show up for the check engine light to come on.
