1995 Ford Ranger ignition problem

I took all the plastics apart and noticed the ignition
actuator is working. I replaced the ignition cylinder
and the truck turns, but it won’t cut off.

The push rod from your tumbler to the electric switch could be jamming on the key release. Pull the fuel pump relay to kill the truck.you you will have to pull the negative wire off the battery to keep from draining it. While You trouble shoot it
