Starting problem

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was wondering, i was driving my crx the other day and it suddenly stopped running..
Now it won't start at all.. Any ideas on whether it's the fuel pump or possibly the
filter? It acts like it's not getting fuel but will turn over.

You need to do a fuel pressure test, or at the very least, open the fuel system somewhere to see if there is any pressure. If there is, you can pretty much count out the fuel pump and filter. Also check to see if you have spark. Pull a plug and reattach it to a wire and rest it on the valve cover. Crank the engine and it should spark. If not, its an ignition problem, most likely the coil/cap/rotor/distributor.
