EVAP problem. Any gas that goes in to tank the air and fumes must be displaced out. It goes in to the charcoal canister, and any vent valve that is stuck or clogged will cause that. Click this image

The air and fumes pass through activated charcoal. Most of the raw hydrocarbons are absorbed by the charcoal and the air vents out. Then when you start your car, the intake vacuum purges the hydrocarbons out back in to intake to be burned instead of being released in to the air
