Why does my car smoke from the exhaust after coasting downhill when there is a build up of negative pressure?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I own a 2007 Lexus GS350 with 185000 miles on it. It runs beautifully with a
great amount of power. Besides the smoke that billows out it runs like a
champ.
I usually avoid the clouds of smoke by dropping my transmission into Neutral
when coasting downhill then put it back into gear just when I am ready to
apply pressure to the accelerator. If I don't do this, it will blow out massive
amounts of smoke. I have taken it to a repair shop and they said the number
5 head gasket was leaking and it needed a valve seal job. $4500 later and it
still smokes. They did the same job twice and it still smokes. Now they turn
me away and say they are done working on my car, so I had to pursue legal
assistance. Does anyone have an idea of what the actual issue could be?

I want to say it looks bluish white. Smells like oil burning. My oil maintenance light always comes on to change oil and low engine oil always comes on so I have to add oil often.

That engine in your car is a 2GR-Fxx These engines are rock solid and would not need any valve seals/stem seals etc. Only common issue you will see on these cars is "Engine Sludging". Your car may have been poorly maintained, which means you could have missed few service intervals creating a grease like material in the rocker covers. This sludge makes it hard for engine valves to work efficiently. In order to fix this issue, you will have to keep doing engine flushes every 2-400 kms. My babied pristine Lexus GS350 started smoking at 60,000 miles and Lexus Van Nuys told me it was normal and my extended warranty wouldn't cover it. I believe there's a defect in the 2007 GS350.

I have a 07 gs 350, just hit the 200,000 mile mark and noticed a black thick drops of fluid under my engine. I maintain it at the dealership regularly and just had a valve gasket replaced month ago. Looking for a 15 gs350 to buy

I bought mine used with 85K and it smoked. I was told that the car is fussy and needs top tier fuel (lots and lots of detergent). Gunk build up in the valves lets oil pass through. Using a bottle of 44K gas treatment and then good gas fixed it.

I just changed the rims on my 2007 lexus ge 350 and now I am receiving a muffled sound that comes from the engine like something has covered it and giving it another sound. Like the converter is off which it isn't. I need some support with this matter.
