What can be the vibration source?

Asked by GuruGH3JC Aug 23, 2020 at 08:49 PM about the 2008 Lexus GX 470 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

it vibrates like you were on a washboard road
. Starts suddenly at speeds 30 to50 mph
under modest acceleration, and stops if you
let off the gas. What is  the vibrating?

Is the check engine light on when this happens? Maybe a misfire? It also could be a failed engine or transmission mount. Wheels properly balanced? Proper tire pressure? lug nuts all nice and tight and torqued down? Maybe a CV axle? Hard to say from where I sit.

I am currently having this problem now. Did you ever figure out the issue? Thank you in advance.
