I'm looking to buy a 07' Lexus ls250 for$2200 with 195000k miles on it...is it worth it with that many miles?

Asked by imNotaBarbieGurL Dec 02, 2018 at 08:26 PM about the 2007 Lexus IS 250 RWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Pros: it's a Lexus, runs and drives perfect, body only some small holes driver
side, cheap only $2200
Cons: the holes are from bullets, broken driver side windows front & back,
passenger back window also broken, door handle driver side broken,
Money pit? Or good investment for reliable car?
It being shot at and having holes doesn't bother me, I live in another town that I
would be buying it from. So...

I would pass. Bullets have to lodge somewhere, perhaps somewhere in or near important components.

Worth it. If it’s a awd or rwd if it’s fwd don’t bother unless you don’t care about that aspect the windows would need to be replaced for sure and the holes take it to a body shop to get a quote. And ask about fixing the door handle. Lexus IS series are definitely worth the low money you’re paying and Lexus Is such a reliable brand.

^ didn’t see you said red and with the miles you could get the engine rebuilt if you plan on doing anything to it or keeping the car for awhile.

To add to my response, I’d totally recommend getting a pre-purchase inspection if you are seriously [still] considering it.
