Is it still smelling? Did you accidentially slop any liquid on any engine parts? When engine heats up it will burn off eventually.

The power steering fluid is indeed dropping onto exhaust or other really hot component and burning up. My car does this and I have to carry a bottle of power steering fluid and refill a little bit every couple weeks

if smoke trough the exaust pipe could be an air valve located at the bottom portion of the power steering pump it has a pair of vacum lines oneto the air intake plastic pipe and one to the iitake manifold
