Will a 1993 LS400 Windshield fit a 1992 LS400 for a replacement?

Doesn't look like there were any significant changes in the car itself between 1992 and 1993, so more than likely it should fit just fine. Are you replacing the glass yourself....or going to an auto glass shop, like Safelite Auto Glass for the replacement job?

msrosemg: It's not polite to talk in Third Person about your question, sorry. But Racer I think maybe he found a good deal on a windshield out of a 1993 but owns a 1992. I strongly recommend he does not install it himself unless he knows fully well how to do so. I have heard stories of breaking it while attempting to save a few bucks, we all need to save when and where we can..that I understand... leaks, and even worse, windshields literally falling out.

No worries, David....I realize that he/she has acquired a 1993 windshield for their 1992 Lexus. What I didn't know (and still don't know) is if this person is a mechanic or installer (which is why I asked that question about self-install). Trust me, I definitely would have advised the person AGAINST doing it themselves, if they didn't have the expertise to do so. Just so happens that you came along before they had a chance to respond. This is NOT a DIY job AT ALL....1000 things could go wrong (being facetious here) ..not the least of which is misapplying pressure and breaking the windshield ...maybe even several severe lacerations or 2 and opps..you got buckets 'o blood a flowin'

Auto glass and air bags are something I would never attempt to work on myself, among other things, but those two things are top of list not DIY for me, ever.

yes. All LS400 model cars are the dame glass , Windshield included .
