I am restoring this car. The vin indicates that its riverside red exterior and red and white interior. I can't find a pic of a 64 with this option. Does anyone know how many were made? thank you.

According to www.vettefacts.com 23% of the total production came in that exterior color and only 2.8% came with red/white vinyl interior. However only 0.3% of all cars came with that color interior in leather.
We bought a new 1964 Corvette Coupe, red with white interior! We ordered it late in 1963, and the dealer said if we were willing to wait a couple of months we could get a 1964. It was a great car. Our dealer in Massachusetts said that the factory rep told him that Chevy did not want to do that combination any more because they had so much trouble on the line keeping the white leather free of the red paint. As I recall, we paid $5000 or $5800 for it new. I have often wondered where that car ended up. I hope that's it that you are restoring!
check on passenger side under dash the serial number, rivited to bar in front of heater, this will give you all options that came with your vette.
did you do it in red/white..I would like to see it. I have the same car unrestored with red seats and red/white dash components. eyebrows red..center is white. Seller says it is original and the codes reflect it. A roadster..that that sound right
Our '64 was candy apple red with a white leather interior. Happy restoring!
I also have a 64 convertible ..riverside red with red and white interior....seats are leather and I believe are original as the door panels
