My car wont start when its in Parking while everything else is fine

My car wont start when its in Parking but have to
be put into Normal to start. is it a safety thing or is
there a problem

Possible short in linkage while it is park. Ignition coil doesn't read it on that circuit and it won't start. I would work it a couple times. Maybe you have to step on brake to take out of P. Could be a short in that series circuit that has multiple communications going on. Good luck
