Question type: Shopping & Pricing

How do you justify giving my "17 Lexus NX with 14,500 miles and some
warrantee left on it a "fair deal rating" vs. a dealers "16 Lexus NX with 53,385
miles a "good deal rating"?

This is all done by a computer algorithm. The factors are price, other similar cars for sale in your area and dealer prices vs private sales prices.

Credibility. A dealer is likely to assist with a customer's complaint where a private party purchase is caveat emptor, let the buyer beware, there is no recourse.
