why does vsc light come on 2002 lexus rx 300

There is a problem and the system is telling you to check it out. Take the auto to the garage and have them "read" the codes, then fix as required.

Mine is same model, had same problem, if u had an oil change and it came on, then check vacuum hose behind airfilter case, or you could need your lines flushed, I had both done, no more vsc light, make sure you burn nothing lower than 93 octane...hope this helps
