how to disable the windows opening this is very damaging in a rain storm

On the door panel (usually) there are the controls for the windows. Look for the switch that looks like a window with an X thru it. If you can carefully remove the panel, you can simply unplug it from the system to prevent further incidents. Hope this helps ya out some.
