Why did my 1 year old battery die after the car sat for 1 week?
I went away for 1 week and let my car sit for that time. When I returned, the battery was bone dead. Had to have someone at work give me a jump to recharge it so that I could get home. Battery went back to supplier who charged it overnight. I don't understand just what drained the battery. Any thoughts on this?

Something must have been left on. Or you have a short circuit somewhere.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KF1gijj03_0 ..shows how to check for parasitic drain. Your Lexus has a battery-saver that will turn off reading lights and things like that. Hopefully even your relatively new battery was not ruined by being 100% drained, only deep-cycle batteries can tolerate that
serpeace if you decide to watch that video, check out all the other videos on the side, and see if one of them applies to you and may help. Also, when you start your car for the first time with new or freshly charged battery, don't worry if it runs rough for a few minutes, that's normal while the ECU 're-learns'. And good morning B-Mark!
Good evening F.N. I had to replace the battery in the Kia yesterday morning and the two new tires for the rear. We found a place that sells beef. About to have the first steak in almost a year.
Yeah. Pork and chicken restaurants are out of this world. I'm sure that the fish is excellent to but I'm not a big fan. There's a TGIF in Cebu City that I'm going to visit next time I'm on that island. McDonald's sells fried chicken. Burgers are a side line and not very good.
