i have a 2007 rx 350 and the power cargo door works, but does not travel high enough to lock into place in the open position. Any suggestions on how ti fix it?

power cargo door opoens and closes but when opening it gets near the top and does not lock into place. It immedioatly returns to the clsoe position. IS this jsut an adjustment ?
Can a do it your selfer fix it?  If not what can I expect for cost at the dealer?

The struts that hold the rear door are worn. Check for leakage down the shock for the rear door. Commonly fail and won't hold the door open. Replace the two door shocks,
