2008 RX-400H Used 63K - Buy or not buy

Hello Lexus Experts,

I am Toyota loyalist. I need to buy a car and I really like a local 2008 RX-
400H only 63K miles offered a $12K. I think the price is on the high side.

I am scared of the hybrid battery even though I own the 2002 1st gen Prius
for the past 17 years still running with original battery! Also are you supposed
to get maintenance only at the Lexus dealer? How expensive is the
maintenance and regular up keep?

Hello! Lexus is a very reliable choice! Personally, I wouldn’t buy the hybrid because of the clunky for cylinder (I think it has a 4 cylinder) and the fact that the battery might die soon, but you can get the car for pretty cheap and matenence is also pretty cheap because of the reliability

Listen get the car absolutely especially with low mileage ,OMG if you dont give me the info where I can purchase this car an the RX400h comes with a 3.3 liter V6 with 284 horses so my answer is yes . I have a 2008 RX400H an I love this vehicle mine has 97888 miles an I visit my daughter on weekends 80 miles out an 80 miles back .I treat this car with the utmost respect an in return it gives me great performance .Just make sure it has never been in any accidents an its had its dealership services ,I bought mine from the dealership with 89000 miles from a little old lady who traded it in .The vehicle was in fantastic shape an well taken care of ,the only part I had to change was a headlight because of water getting inside but being that I am a auto body tech it was a easy fix . Check the Carfax on it if its been to the dealership .Good luck
