Limited edition rf corvette

Asked by Garyb396 Dec 31, 2016 at 09:21 PM about the 1975 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

Question type: General

I am looking at buying a 75 corvette stingray.  Old
man says it's 1-11 limited rf corvettes from the
Burbank California dealership.  Does this add any
value at all?  Supposedly they just added the
spoiler rear and lower front valence panel and a
limited edition on the center console.

Sorry pal, but adding after market items on a Corvette does not make it special. In this case the picture makes it look like a piece of s__t. What is the asking price? Also, when was this aftermarket stuff added? It looks well used and it needs to be rebuilt or replaced. In my estimation, it is a asking price deduction. At best $4,500 to $6,000 or maybe even less. If he wants $8,000 or more, look for something better conditions. You are looking at a long, costly project to clean it up and put it on the street. Does road hard and put away wet sound familiar? How about drive it like you stole it? Expensive project car. Walk away.
