Question type: Car Customization

Can a 1969 Corvette small block 350 engine be installed in a 1985 c4 corvette
without any modifications to the body or adapters anyplace ?

I think it will bolt in. This would not be my choice for your car. I would go with a later fuel injected engine with more power and better fuel economy.

we tried to get it in and it kept getting hung up. the older block must be a little bit longer so thinking maybe it might need a spacer between the bell housing and the tranny this is our first corvette venture .
