1986 Convertible Pace Car approx-98,000 miles

My husband was recently diagnosed with stage IV Colorectal Cancer and I have a 1986 Chevy Convertible Pace Car that I will have to sell. I'm trying to figure out the value of the Corvette as I need as much money as I can possibly get for the car. I plan to take it to a mechanic for a full once over; everything it needs will be done prior to selling in order to get the max for it. Can you give me an idea of the value and maybe refer an honest, trustworthy mechanic who will know what he's doing? I live in Burlington, Wisconsin. Thank You!!!!!

hello sorry about your husband . value on that car is between 5 and 9 thousand dollars on ebay. as far as finding a mechanic in wisconsin i have no idea. if it doesn't need anything major I would sell it as is ,if you start putting money into it ,you'll never get it back.
