did you check the transmission fluid level? full between the HOT and COLD hashmarks on the dipstick....needs fluid to complete the task of shifting gears~ look for a fluid leak at the rubber connections to the radiator~
It could be a broken transmission. Or it could be a loose nut behind the wheel.
