Many of these will require removal of engine components or even access from underneath. Ask Krez on this board, he is a Vette aficionado and may have insight. Barring that, a Haynes manual will tell you exactly what you need.

Well even on my old 74, its a little tough with the AC unit on the way among other things. I have an assortment of short and long ratchets w/ swivel sockets and some extensions. It does take some time to get in there and reach them. But with the proper tools it makes it much easier. But working on any corvette is never easy. :)

Remove the sub-plate on the fender liner (5 10mm bolts). (The rubber fender/hood seal should lift off and out of the way (careful...don't tear it). Then remove the rear A/C compressor bracket bolt (10mm) and the nut from the stud at the lower end (14mm). You can now remove the bracket. Loosen and pull out of the way any air control hoses. (Hint....remove the dip-stick, too, and put it aside....it will be in the way) It's still going to be a bitch to get to the plugs (especially that miserable front one), but, this should get you in there without having a total mental break-down. The smaller your hands and forearms (it doesn't pay to be a big guy when working on Corvette engines) the better. If you've got a sweet and petite 'old lady' that isn't afraid to get dirty with you (come on...you know what I mean...) that could be a big help! This works on my 1989 Corvette Coupe with a 99% stock L98 350.
