Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took toyota camry 2007 to a mechanic for state inspection. I observed he lifted my car and used a big rod and turned something very tight inbetween my 2 front wheels. Now check VSC system message is appearing. I also observed my vehicle was not running so smoothly after the inspection. Can you please let me know what is it he could have tightened? Also I know there could be more than 1 hole right near the middle portion of the front 2 tires. If you can help what could have done I will really appreciate.

Middle portion of front tires is at the base of the car when lifted up.

Just wanted to say again, he tightened something under the car inside a hole which is located at the center of the two front wheels when you look up a lifted car.
