Slight vibration
I went through some bad road the other day and somewhere underneath the car hit a
stone in the ground. Since then, the car feels funny when i drive. It feels like there is a
slight vibration each time i accelerate to start to move. I suspect one of the bushings
might have been affected.i looked under the vehicle and noticed marks on one of the
two points carry the chassis towards the front. (Not sure what it is called). Kindly
advise on steps to take as the car doesn't feel the same and am very skeptical about
our parts and garages here.

Usually if it vibrates only when you accelerate its a cv axle
Not sure what the cv axle is but i don't think its only when i accelerate. That's just when it is pronounced
Its the part(s) that goes from the tranmission to the wheel and drives the wheels. Have seen them ho bad alot and cause vibration issues. Could be as simple as wheel balance maybe when you over the rough road a wheel weight poped off.
Ok now i know the part you talking of. But i don't think dats d problem. It is felt just as i start to move
Perhaps a motor or transmission mount?
Your car doesnt even have a CV Joint... its front wheel drive transaxle. Is the vibration increasing with speed? Is there a noise associated with the vibration? How is the alignment?
Seth how do you figure it doesnt have cv axles?

sorry, my mistake. I was thinking of cv/u joints in a rwd vehicle... it was late.
If you can look under the car look to see if any of the four CV's have a ripped or cracked rubber boot. It might help to turn the wheel when you try to look at the outers
