Key fob detection

How come I was able to drive my
2018 Jeep Wrangler 1 1/2 hr without
key fob? Anyone can steal your
vehicle with this fault

Don't leave the engine running and doors unlocked. They cannot Start the engine without the FOB.

It would be too dangerous for the engine to shut off because it no longer detects the fob, esp if your driving on the expressway or crossing rr tracks.
