Is my AC blower out?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
2015 Crosstrek here, The resistor has some corrosion on all 4 pins and some melted plastic around 1 pin on the connector to the control knobs. It ran only on high most of the day until it failed when i turned it off end of day like a 2 hr trip. Only did this as of today and now i get no power to the blower or ac per the ac light will not engage. Could it be this resistor or potentially some relays as well? Trying to narrow it down before i start replacing parts. fuses look good but haven't been able to check the relays yet. Also anyone know how many relays there are? There seems to be a hidden relay box under the dash. This car is 100% factory spec also.

The resistor block is melted? Replace, eh, as it sounds like there's an internal short.
I have replaced the resistor pack with no luck. Tested all the relays on the circuit and they all click and have continuity checked from a multimeter. The blower fan also runs fine when given direct power. The AC and Blower still will come on at all. The fan speed dial was giving us some clicking issues right before this happened could the control unit be the issue? I can get the recirculating air light to come on but the AC light will not come on from this panel. Otherwise what do you think would cause both to be disabled like this? If it we're just the ac I would expect the fan to still come on. Below is the connector I was referring to, this is one of the connectors that goes to the control knobs.
The relays and fuses I have checked are the main AC relay in the engine panel, the two 15 amp fuses in the driver's side panel and the large relay tied into the blower motor on the passenger side. Am I missing any of these?

I can't help in these weeds, as Imp/For harnesses vary from Leg/OB (my specialty). The former ALWAYS have more electrical nonsense than Indiana production. I would swap in a used fan switch as it may be shorted internally? Good luck. Ern
That was 100% it Ern, had a good thermal control unit shipped up from a salvage yard and put it in. Everything works great now!
there is some thing wrong with the relays or the switches, Time for Subaru to get off it's self righteous ass and tell there blind lovers that they have been putting out a lame product for the past five years. Never buy another

I'm guessing that Subaru didn't make the fan switch...but they do cut corners in specing some parts in order to achieve a price point. With Toyota co-ownership QA has improved, contrary to G5's contention. However, assembly lines in Japan use forced overtime instead of running extra shifts, so QA had dropped on Imps/CTs/Foresters, unlike the better atmosphere in Indiana Legs/OBs.
